IRELAND28 TOWNHOMES, NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE Ireland Street Townhomes is a 28 unit single-family attached townhouse development in the north Nashville neighborhood of Hope Gardens.  Although the project is considered "affordable", with 20% of the units subsidized, this project consists of four unique floor plans ranging from 1,250 sf to 1,575 sf.  The units vary between two and three story units with an attached single-car garage.  The development is oriented south with grouped first floor front porches, upper level decks off the master bedroom and large, double-hung wood windows to take advantage of the Nashville skyline.  The majority of the units incorporate continuous clerestory windows on the second floor to emphasis the spatial volume and filter natural daylight into the second floor hallway, down the open stair and into the front foyer below.  Natural materials such as maple cabinets with textured glass, oak floors and custom wood railing are prevalent throughout the interior of the space.  Awards
