YMCA GREEN HILLS,
NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE A totally new look was created for the Green Hills Family YMCA. A 17,000 sq. ft. addition and 11,700 sq. ft. of remodeling transformed a formerly confusing, crowded and generally tired-looking facility into a fresh, attractive full-service facility for developing the spirit, mind and body. A new entry lobby and a clear, simple internal circulation system replaced the previously circuitous and confusing hallways. Large social spaces were added along with much larger locker room facilities, additional program spaces, new childcare areas and administrative spaces. A new permanent enclosure was added for the indoor pool with two observation levels along the side from the new corridors. Awards. |
