MASTER PLAN, NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE - EOA with Hargreaves

This 15 to 20-year master plan proposes
a bold new initiative by carving a new channel in the
East Bank of the Cumberland River with development and
recreational boat docking along both sides. The first
phase of the project outlines a 5-year plan would double
the size of Riverfront Park, expanding it to both sides
of the Cumberland. Other proposed amenities include an
amphitheater, illumination of the Woodland Street Bridge,
a playground, pavilion, water features and an urban forest.
First-year funding of $8 million has been allocated into
the city’s capital budget followed by the remaining 4
years at the same pace.
