TENNESSEE SUPREME COURT BUILDING, NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE
The Tennessee State Supreme Court has needed more space for decades. With the Supreme Court Facility Development Master Plan as our guide, we are commencing design for an addition and renovation to the historic structure on Capitol Hill. A new public entrance will be added to address modern security needs. New humidity controlled archives will be added to protect the court’s ever-growing collection of historic documents. The court facilities will be made fully accessible, and space will be added to house the Administrative Office of the Courts functions whose size and workload are constantly growing along with the state population.
