BMW OF NORTH
AMERICA, MULTIPLE LOCATIONS NATIONWIDE
In 2002, our team was selected by BMW of North America to
be their design partner for the development of new and/or
renovation designs of BMW centers nationwide. Unlike
many corporate identity strategies, BMW specifically does
not seek a prototype building design. Instead, BMW selected
us to provide a sophisticated design approach that combines
corporate identity branding and facility design requirements
with the unique conditions and context of each facility.
Today, our team is BMW of North America certified to provide
branding design for BMW centers nationwide. We have
developed a design process tailored to assist dealers with
the planning needs of their facilities. This process
includes several on-site design and consultation meetings
with dealers and BMW operational officers to determine the
functional and aesthetic approach to a project. Our work culminates
in a complete Design Intent Package that includes: CAD
developed architectural drawings of the site and proposed
building, color renderings of the exterior and interior, a
materials outline, interior furnishings and a preliminary
construction cost estimate.
