ALLIUM RESTAURANT,
5th & MAIN, NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE Allium is an urban restaurant and bar that is located on the corner of the 5th and Main Mixed-Use development in Nashville, TN. The simple folding planes and open large open spaces emphasize and frame the expansive downtown view. The restaurant is comprised of two main public spaces, the bar area and the restaurant seating. The two spaces blend together into one cohesive design by utilizing the continuous material of the wood ceiling from the bar to morph and fold down into the form of the banquette in the restaurant seating area. The warm woods contrast the monolithic white quartz and soft green fabrics that are used throughout the space. The lighting design plays a large role in the composition of the space with a contemporary recessed linear light defining the outer edge of the restaurant area and contrasting it with mono-point lights in the center give the space an intimate feel. |
