411 BROADWAY, NASHVILLE,
TENNESSEE
Constructed in 1955, the 411 Broadway Building is an example of post WWII contemporary style. Its aluminum clad façade and wide expanses of glass provided a showcase for the furniture store that formerly occupied the building. The redevelopment adds one floor to the existing three story building. The roof top addition is set back from the street front façade in order to preserve the original scale of the building and to distinguish the old from the new. Restaurant and commercial spaces occupy the first and second floors with office tenant space on the third floor. The fourth floor penthouse opens up to a roof deck that has amazing views of Downtown’s vibrant Broadway. • Historic commission approval |
